Hello out there!
Sorry I've been away for so long.
I've been hibernating & it was a long winter.
Ohh, how I've longed for warm breezes & bunnies hopping through my yard.
The weather is finally breaking & I've tried to make the most of it.
I went for a run, but my chubby buns had to stop early.
I went for a walk, but, again, my chubby buns had to stop early.
Maybe I'll skip the exercise & sleep in the sunshine like this...
Or this...
Or this...
I'm really good at snoozing.
I have big plans for this Spring - trips to the park, play dates with friends, lots of sunshine, & lots of naps.
I hope you're out of hibernation. I miss you!
Love,
B

Indoor Trees
My humans needed a talking to today.
They went out for a bit this morning, and when they came home, they brought a tree inside.
I insisted they take it back outside immediately, but they shooed me away and told me to settle down.
Maybe no one has ever told them that trees belong outdoors, but I tried and no one wanted to hear it.
I had to go with the flow and eventually my humans asked for my help in setting up the tree.
They call it a "Christmas Tree".
I sniffed and pawed my human through getting the tree in the stand properly. I think he got the hang of it, so I enjoyed the snowfall and even left him alone for a little bit.
I kept an eye on him though. You just can't trust anyone who brings an 8 foot tree indoors.
By the way, look at what all the other silly humans on the street have done.
Every tree looks like this!
I'm not really sure what to make of all this.
I hope you've stayed normal - my new humans get stranger by the day.

Fall Cleaning With B
Hello? He-lloooo? Are you awake? Mmmm are you awake? Can you see me from up there? I will just press my nose to your cheek so you know I'm here.
Ohh, oh good you're waking up. Hi. Let's be awake together. It's 4:30, we should go downstairs. We're wasting the day.
My mom says when I wake her up, it drives her bananas. I'm pretty sure this is what she means…
She has the happiest thoughts. I've never driven that thing though.
Anywho, I was just writing to let you know I have a big day planned! Mom and I are going to clean out one of the guest rooms and clean the bathrooms.
Mom bought a new general purpose cleaner made from plants. She's concerned about my habit of licking inanimate objects like the kitchen garbage can, cabinets, floors, the wall, etc. and she doesn't want the chemicals from traditional cleaners in my belly. Plus something about her sensitive skin.
I'm never allowed in the guest rooms, I'm sure there will be so many smells to be had.
I can't wait to see you in a few days! I miss you and I'll give you big smooches when I see you!
Love,
B

My New Home
Hi everyone!
I've moved all the way to Illinois. I'm a Chicago pup now, and I want to share my new life with you all (but mostly my brothers).
When I first came to the Land of Lincoln, I had so many new things to smell. Just when I think I've sniffed it all, my new family takes me on a walk for all new smells.
Since I've been here, my favorite things to do are as follows:
1. Play with my rope. I run around like a crazy dude when my new family members throw it around the backyard.
They like to play "keep away from B", little do they know, I'm just trying to wear my new family out so they can sleep well at night.
Don't I look ferocious in that second picture?
2. Derp around.
My new friend next door always has his little tongue sticking out. I want to be just like him!
By the way, I've made 2 friends already, and I haven't even been here a week. One is just my size and he loves getting rowdy with me. The other one is smaller than most of my meals, but so far, we've been very friendly.
3. Roll around on my new grass.
Remember all those smells I told you about? I. MUST. ROLL. IN. ALL. OF. THEM.
4. Pose for pictures. I'm not the most photogenic pup (even though the lady-pups can't keep their paws off me in person), but check out my over-the-shoulder shots.

5. My absolute most favorite activity is being absolutely majestic-looking!
I could sit out in my yard like this all day. I mean, I could, but I get distracted by other dogs, people, smells, my toys, testing the invisible fence, and digging holes.
There are several other things that I like to do with H&M, like stare at them from 2 inches away from their faces while they sleep, and waking them up at 1am, 'cause I know they want to hear all the same noises that I hear.
My favorite spot to rest is at the bottom of the stairs on the little platform. I have windows in three directions, so I can keep a good eye on my territory.
I love my new home, except my new family doesn't let me on the furniture. What's up with that? Who wouldn't want a 74-pound cuddle buddy all the time?
I'm having a great time though; none of you Michiganders have to worry about me! I'm well-fed, get plenty of exercise, and my new family loves me lots!
I know I'll have a ton more adventures...
Love,
B
